Abstract: This project investigates the opinions of the wealthy on if the wealthy should be allowed to buy better healthcare than others. Wealthy people were split into two groups– became rich and born rich– based on their reported family income from when they were 16. As a moderator, occupational status of being a healthcare worker was also tested. Both tests were insignificant, meaning that there is no significant correlation between the economic mobility of the wealthy and their opinion on if the wealthy should be able to buy better healthcare than others. The sample size was very small, particularly for healthcare workers, so further research with a larger sample size is important.
