Abstract: The World Health Organization estimates that over 150,000 mortalities occur per year due to the impacts of climate change. One way in which the effects of climate change can be combatted is through the increased use of renewable energy sources. Using data from the NSEE data set, this project considers the association between different age categories and support for positive government action toward renewable energy in the United States. The data shows that age is significantly and negatively associated with participant support. This remains consistent when highest level of education completed is held constant.
