Live Poster Session: Zoom Link
Abstract: This study highlights the importance of understanding the link between inaccessible medical care during childhood or adolescence and health issues later in life. Identifying such a correlation can help identify gaps in healthcare access and inform policies and initiatives aimed at improving access to healthcare services for all individuals, regardless of their socioeconomic status. It can also help healthcare providers intervene early to prevent or manage health issues, leading to better health outcomes, reduced healthcare disparities, and reduced economic burden on individuals, families, and society. The analysis aims to establish a relationship between limited access to medical care during adolescence and the development of medical issues later in life, with the goal of informing policies and practices aimed at improving healthcare access and reducing healthcare disparities.
