Abstract: Parents are often a child’s first role models and example setters. Therefore, in this project, the NESARC observational data was to look at the relationship between parental alcohol problems and their children’s alcohol addiction in adulthood was tested. The data showed that there was no significant relationship between parental drinking and their children’s alcohol addiction when they are grown up. Once gender was considered, there was a significant relationship in the data observation.
