Abstract:

Sports have been at the forefront of our society for centuries, and their impact on physical health has been widely studied. A lot of evidence suggests that playing sports during adolescence can positively affect physical health and lead to a healthier lifestyle in adulthood. However, there is a growing concern that intensive sports participation during adolescence may lead to health issues later in life. Overall, this research aims to comprehensively understand the relationship between sports participation during adolescence and adult health outcomes. This paper may reduce the risk of critical health issues in adulthood by identifying the potential benefits and risks of sports participation during adolescence while taking moderating factors into account.
