Abstract: This study examines the association between women’s education and their social and economic well-being, confidence, and perceived financial success. This relationship was studied from a sample of 6,394 participants, 3,043 of which are women, drawn from the U.S adult population, using the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Financial Well-Being (FWB) Survey. Bivariate analysis shows a positive correlation between education and life satisfaction. Multivariate analysis associates higher education levels with higher income levels across all levels of life satisfaction, and associates the highest life satisfaction reports with the highest income reports. Logistic regression analysis shows a statistically significant positive association between life satisfaction and education level.
