Abstract:
This study attempts to establish a statistical relationship between memory loss exemplified through verbal memory recall tasks and cannabis use. To address an earlier question of how initiation age can impact levels of cognitive dysfunction, individuals from sample groups can be divided into several different cannabis consumption frequency levels to then assess whether consistent cannabis use has a significant impact on memory.
On a basic level, this study strives to understand whether it is the very use of cannabis that impacts individual memory, or the extent to which it is used in daily life. In other words, does a dependence on cannabis or the regular use of it cause a notably more significant decline in memory capacity? Further, does an individual’s hard working nature–or lack thereof–affect the extent to which memory is impacted?
